life is too busy.

i long for winter. i miss the crispness in the air. i miss walking on snow and having it melt and getting my feet wet and then having to change socks. i miss wearing my sweaters and scarves and mittens. i miss coming in from outside and having rosy red cheeks and a cold little nose. i miss seeing the sad attempts of kids in the making of a snowman because we all know it will never look just like frosty. i miss wearing long underwear. i miss having 13 blankets on my bed and being toasty warm. i miss having it dark for most of the day. i even miss having my annual winter sinus infection just because it means it would be cold outside.
i yearn for winter.
